"I was looking for a new approach to relief from lower back pain when a friend referred me to Virginia Paradis. Virginia has been a very important part of my recovery and wellness routine.  Working with me pre- and post-surgery, Virginia has helped me increase mobility, lessen pain and provide me with routines to help maintain in between appointments. Virginia is kind, thoughtful, intuitive and a great listener. " - Katharine
"I have been a client of Virginia’s for 4 years. I starting seeing her for relaxation purposes and it turned into so much more. She is able to relieve sore muscles or pain. Last year I was diagnosed with frozen shoulder. Another doctor was pushing for surgery. Virginia worked with my physical therapist to take away the pain and return my mobility within 9 months even though it can take years to return to normal.  Anyone looking to improve their life would benefit from seeing Virginia." - Stephanie
"I'm so thankful to have found Virginia to help me with my chronic knee, neck, and shoulder pain. Her insightful whole body approach to combating pain has diminished mine considerably. Using a variety of techniques, Virginia tailors every session with the goal of long lasting improvement and changing the underlying issue. Throughout each session, she shows her deep understanding of body mechanics and the connection between the muscular, skeletal, and neurological systems. I also appreciate the 'homework' that she gives me to help me teach my body to correct the imbalance that causes the pain." - MK
Virginia is an incredibly intuitive therapist. She has a rare ability to pinpoint the true source of pain, while working with whole body to help you heal. Over the past 18 months, I have seen my chronic gut issues subside and my flexibility, overall range of motion, and general comfort level improve. I recommend her to everyone! - Elisa K.
I've been working for Virginia for several years now, trying to deal with decades of lower back pain. Here comprehensive philosophy regarding movement, flexibility, posture and massage have been so helpful. Her wide knowledge of the body and good and less good ways to use it always impress and often inspire me. I'm so glad I've connected with her. - Andy P
Virginia is AMAZING!  I have been seeing her for body work for about 8 months now and I feel great.  My posture has improved.  I feel more open.  I tell her all the time that when I leave, I feel like I am 3 inches taller.  She has been working with me to reach my flexibility and strength goals.  She is so very knowledgeable.  - Renae M
"I have been seeing Virginia going on 6 years now and refer to her as "The Muscle Whisperer". She has an extensive knowledge pertaining to the physiology and anatomy of the body. Her demeanor is both calming and professional. She will take the time to really listen to your chief complaints of aches and pains. Virginia also takes the time to provide suggestions i.e. stretching and proper posture for a healthier life moving forward." - Marion
Virginia is compassionate, sensitive, and insightful.  As someone who struggles with chronic pain, I am so thankful for how Virginia moved gently, encouraged me, and helped me discover not only the physical patterns of tension in my body, but also the emotions that result from having a disabling illness.  She helped me move from a place of fear to a place of empowerment.  Because of her work and at-home exercises, I've gained greater strength and freedom of movement. - Alex
"Over the years, I’ve tried a number of medical providers to deal with my back pain unsuccessfully.   Virginia has helped alleviate my pain by identifying issues, working on them in office and providing techniques that I can utilize on my own.  My appointments have been very beneficial for me." - David
"If you are looking to eliminate pain or improve your current fitness level, then you need to book an appointment with Virginia Paradis.  In one visit, I was hooked.  I’ve been to many massage therapists over the years and Virginia is in her own league. At each visit, Virginia  visually assesses my movement patterns, asks how I’m feeling and she moves on from there.  Every session is different based on where my body is at that time.  Her knowledge of how the human body functions allows her to be flexible in what kind of modalities she uses on any particular day.  At times I ask her questions about aches and pains I may have had during an exercise (example; kettlebell swings)and she breaks down the movement and adds details that help me execute the movement to get the most benefits out of it.  Through her massage, she has retrained my muscles and my fitness goals are increasing.  Often, she gives me “homework”, movements to practice what she teaches me through massage and movement.  I find myself often thinking of her especially while at the gym.  Freedom of movement is a beautiful thing and Virginia Paradis is a life changer." - Susan
I have been a regular monthly client of Virginia Paradis for more than a year and am extremely grateful for the pain relief, healing and restoration she has helped to bring to my body both before and after my hip replacement surgery. Virginia’s expertise in the muscular system coupled with her outstanding listening skills and massage techniques are hallmarks of her highly professional care. - Deb
